When I first contacted Holly and booked a consultation I was so nervous due to previous experience with another personal trainer. She was so welcoming, friendly and professional...all of my worries were eased within the first hour! 
Holly is so enthusiastic during each session and celebrates every small achievement, making me feel more confident every session. To begin with I suffered with hip and ankle instability causing a lot of pain. Tailoring our sessions to build up strength and stability in these areas has made a huge difference to my every day life. 
Holly is always happy to answer any questions I have in between sessions and always explains why we are doing the exercises and which muscle groups we are working which has helped me understand my body so much more. 

 

As a bonus, there are swans and ducklings to accompany me on every session.

Before my sessions with Holly, I did zero exercise, had put on weight and did not feel good about myself. I didn’t do exercise because I didn’t know what I was doing and had no confidence to go to a gym or do anything about it. After approaching Holly and having a consultation, I nervously attended my first session and I only wish I had done it sooner. Holly completely understood my needs and requirements and what I wanted to achieve, after just 12 sessions (twice a week) I feel completely differently about myself, I lost weight quite noticeably and improved my health massively in such a short space of time. The sessions were a lot of fun which I never thought I’d say about exercising.

I did the riverside retreat which was amazing to be outdoors and such a lovely environment to exercise in.

 

She has put the biggest smile on my face.

SARAH

I have been disinterested in exercise my whole life. Over the years I have taken up various activities but never stuck at anything.

As I approach 40, I’ve become increasingly aware that such an inactive lifestyle will not do me any favours long term, so when Holly was recommended to me, I decided to go for it and booked 10 sessions. I’m so pleased I did!! Everything about the experience has been positive – Holly is a truly lovely person and great fun to be around. Her sessions are challenging enough that I can feel the progression but not enough to intimidate or put me off. She is very encouraging which spurs me on to try harder. My fitness levels have increased much more than I anticipated, I have more energy and I have lost quite a bit of the belly! I said to her on the first day that she would have a hard time getting me to stick at this but I was wrong, I’ve come too far to give up now AND I actually enjoy it.

Earlier this summer I took up Parkrunning. I began by running and walking but I really wanted to be able to run the whole 5km without stopping. Holly devised a strategy to help and I can honestly say she was spot on. She has enabled me to conquer my ,mental block and within 4 weeks of training, managed to run the entire 5km AND get a personal best! She has also been improving my general fitness with The Duo

sessions me and my husband attend - they are always fun and varied.

As I have reached a stage in life where fitness is very important, it is terrific to find a trainer who works with me to get the most out of my training.

KATE

When I first met Holly I had a 1 year old son. Like lots of new mums having a baby had been a huge shock and I had not been looking

after myself or watching my weight.

We had Oscars first birthday and the photos came back. After seeing the photos and feeling so sad that I had let myself go from a healthy 11 stone on my wedding day to 15 stone in only 4 years, I realised I had to get some help to change my outlook towards food, fitness and general well being.

I instantly felt that northern warmth from her.
Holly has been training me for 2 months so far and I have lost 14lbs. and noticed a reduction in inches. She is an exceptional motivator, she invests so much of herself in ensuring everything you are doing is right for you and your goals. 

I now have a much healthier relationship with food and a more positive outlook on exercise.

KATHRYN

Holly has been incredibly inspiring to work with. She's real, down to earth and genuine. Her positivity is infectious and she makes you want to work hard and push yourself whilst at the same time setting you realistic goals. Holly knows the struggles that a lot of mums go through with post pregnancy body hang-ups. I found Holly very relatable. My child is now 2 years old and so the demands of early motherhood aren't quite as stressful and I feel Holly has seamlessly transitioned from a trainer focusing on my needs as a new mum,

to a trainer focusing on my needs as an individual. She's developed my running and introduced me to the world of free-weights.

 

 

I'll forever be grateful for what Holly has helped me with and would highly recommend her to anyone - whatever stage of life.
